Hezekiah was a King of Judah and the son of King Ahaz. He is most famous for his reforms and revival of the worship of God in Judah during his reign. Hezekiah is also known for his trust in God and for his miraculous healing from a serious illness. He ruled for 29 years, from 715-686 BC. He was an ally of the prophet Isaiah and supported his reforms in the kingdom. Hezekiah is remembered in the Bible as a righteous king who led his people back to the worship of God and inspired a revival of religious and cultural life in Judah.
