Jeshua (also known as Joshua or Yeshua) was a biblical figure who was the leader of the Israelites after the death of Moses. He was the son of Nun, a Levite, and was born in Egypt. He was the successor to Moses and led the Israelites in their conquest of Canaan. He is best known for his role in the Battle of Jericho, where he led the Israelites in a miraculous victory.
