Joash was a biblical figure who was the king of Judah for 40 years. He was the son of Ahaziah and the grandson of Jehoram. He was anointed king at the age of seven and reigned until he was assassinated at the age of 47. He was known for his religious reforms and for restoring the Temple of Jerusalem. Joash was a reformer who sought to restore the worship of God in Judah. He ordered the repair of the Temple of Jerusalem and the reinstatement of the Levites and priests. He also ordered the collection of funds to pay for the repairs. He also abolished idolatry and destroyed the altars of the false gods. Joash is best known for his religious reforms and for restoring the Temple of Jerusalem. He was also known for his military successes against the Ammonites and the Edomites. He was assassinated by his own servants in the Temple of Jerusalem. Joash had no siblings. His father, Ahaziah, was the son of Jehoram and the grandson of Jehoshaphat. His mother is not mentioned in the Bible.
