Micaiah was a prophet in the Bible, best known for his confrontation with King Ahab of Israel. He was the son of Imlah, a prophet from the northern kingdom of Israel. He had two brothers, Zedekiah and Eliezer. Micaiah was called upon by King Ahab to give a prophecy about the outcome of a battle against the Arameans. Micaiah refused to give a false prophecy, and instead warned Ahab that he would be killed in the battle. Ahab ignored Micaiah's warning and went to battle, where he was killed. Micaiah was also known for his confrontation with the false prophets of King Ahab. He warned them that their prophecies were false and that they would be punished for their lies. He was eventually thrown into prison for his words. Micaiah is best known for his courage in standing up to King Ahab and his false prophets. He was willing to risk his own life to speak the truth, and his words were eventually proven to be true. He is an example of faithfulness and courage in the face of adversity.
