The story of Sarai

Sarai was a biblical figure, the wife of Abraham and the mother of Isaac. She was the daughter of Terah, Abraham's father, and the sister of Lot and Haran. Sarai was barren and unable to have children, so she gave her handmaid, Hagar, to Abraham to bear a child. Hagar gave birth to Ishmael, and Sarai was later able to conceive and give birth to Isaac. Sarai is best known for her faith in God, despite her barrenness, and for her willingness to give her handmaid to Abraham in order to fulfill God's promise of a son. Sarai is also remembered for her hospitality, as she welcomed strangers into her home and provided them with food and shelter. Sarai's faith and hospitality are remembered and celebrated in the Bible, and she is an example of faith and obedience to God.
