Commentary

The book of Numbers is the fourth book of the Torah and the fourth book of the Hebrew Bible. It is a narrative of the Israelites’ journey from Sinai to the Promised Land. This census is conducted by Moses and Aaron, who are instructed by God to count the number of men from each tribe.
