God institutes the law of the Nazirite, which sets out specific rules for those who take a vow to be set apart to God.
Commentary
In Numbers 6, we see the Lord giving Moses instructions for the Nazirite vow. This vow was a special vow of dedication to the Lord that was taken by individuals who wanted to dedicate themselves to the Lord for a period of time. The Lord gave Moses specific instructions for how the vow was to be taken and how it was to be observed.
