Commentary
Ruth 2 is a beautiful chapter that highlights the kindness of Boaz and the faithfulness of Ruth. Boaz is a wealthy landowner who is a relative of Naomi's late husband. When Ruth goes to glean in Boaz's field, he is immediately taken with her and shows her great kindness. He instructs his workers to leave extra grain for her to collect and even gives her permission to drink from his water jars. Boaz's kindness is a beautiful example of how God's people should treat one another.
