Η Βίβλος αναφέρεται στην Εκπαίδευση σε πολλά σημεία. Από την Παλαιά Διαθήκη μέχρι τη Νέα Διαθήκη, η Βίβλος υπογραμμίζει τη σημασία της μάθησης και της σοφίας στη ζωή των ανθρώπων. Η Εκκλησία προωθεί την εκπαίδευση ως έναν τρόπο βελτίωσης του εαυτού και ως μέσο υπηρεσίας προς τους άλλους.
