Context: Colossians 4
3Withal praying also for us, that God would open unto us a door of utterance, to speak the mystery of Christ, for which I am also in bonds:
4That I may make it manifest, as I ought to speak.

About Colossians 4: Christian Conduct and Relationships

Paul instructs the Colossians on how to conduct themselves as Christians, including how to treat each other, how to communicate with each other, and how to interact with the outside world. He sends greetings from fellow workers and closes with a benediction.
Commentary
Colossians 4 is a chapter that speaks to the importance of living a life of prayer and humility. Paul begins by encouraging the Colossians to pray for him and his companions, and to be persistent in their prayers. He then goes on to remind them to be wise in their interactions with outsiders, and to be gracious and wise in their speech. He also encourages them to be thankful for all that God has done for them.
