About Genesis 7: The Great Flood

God told the man he saved to put two of every kind of animal on the ark, one male and one female. He also told them to bring seven of every kind of bird and every kind of food they would need.
Commentary
Genesis 7 is the story of the great flood that God sent to cleanse the earth of its wickedness. In this chapter, God instructs Noah to build an ark and to take two of every kind of animal into the ark with him. God also tells Noah to take seven pairs of every clean animal and bird. This is so that the animals can be used for sacrifices after the flood.
