Commentary

Joshua 2 is a chapter that tells the story of how Joshua sent two spies to Jericho to scout out the city. The spies were welcomed into the house of Rahab, a prostitute, who hid them from the king of Jericho. Rahab then made a deal with the spies, promising to protect them and their families if they would spare her and her family when they conquered the city. The spies agreed and then escaped from the city.
