Commentary
Mark 14 is the account of Jesus' last days before his crucifixion. It begins with Jesus and his disciples celebrating the Passover meal together. Jesus then predicts his betrayal by one of his disciples, and the disciples are filled with sorrow. Jesus then goes to the Garden of Gethsemane to pray, and his disciples fall asleep. Judas arrives with a mob of people to arrest Jesus, and Peter cuts off the ear of one of the men. Jesus then heals the man's ear and is taken away to be tried.
