Commentary

Mark 8 is a pivotal chapter in the Gospel of Mark, as it marks the beginning of Jesus' journey to Jerusalem and his eventual death. He performs a miraculous feeding of the four thousand, and then warns his disciples against the leaven of the Pharisees and Herod.
