Commentary
In Numbers 29, the Lord instructs Moses to instruct the Israelites to offer a series of sacrifices to the Lord during the seventh month of the year. The Lord commands that the Israelites offer a burnt offering, a grain offering, a sin offering, and a guilt offering. The burnt offering is to be offered on the first day of the month, and the grain offering is to be offered on the second day. The sin offering and guilt offering are to be offered on the tenth day of the month. The Lord also commands that the Israelites offer a series of sacrifices on the fifteenth day of the month, including a burnt offering, a grain offering, a sin offering, and a guilt offering. The Lord also commands that the Israelites offer a series of sacrifices on the twenty-third day of the month, including a burnt offering, a grain offering, a sin offering, and a guilt offering.
