Numbers 9: The Second Passover

God commands the Israelites to keep the Passover, even if they are ceremonially unclean.

Commentary

In Numbers chapter 9, the Israelites are instructed to observe the Passover. This is a significant event in the history of the Israelites, as it marks the beginning of their journey out of Egypt and into the Promised Land. The Lord instructs Moses to tell the people that they must observe the Passover on the fourteenth day of the first month, and that anyone who is unclean or on a journey must still observe the Passover on the fourteenth day of the second month.
