During his reign, Israel experienced a period of peace and prosperity, and his kingdom was known for its wealth, trade, and agriculture. Solomon is also known for his writings, including the books of Proverbs, Ecclesiastes, and the Song of Solomon in the Old Testament. He died at the age of 80 and was succeeded by his son Rehoboam.
