Commentary

Genesis 26 is the story of Isaac, the son of Abraham, and his journey to the land of the Philistines. Isaac is sent by God to the land of the Philistines to avoid a famine in the land of Canaan. Upon arriving in the land of the Philistines, Isaac is met with hostility from the Philistines. Despite this, Isaac continues to prosper in the land and is blessed by God with a plentiful harvest.
