Commentary
Judges 8 is a chapter in the Old Testament book of Judges that tells the story of Gideon's victory over the Midianites. In this chapter, Gideon and his army of 300 men defeat the Midianites, who had been oppressing the Israelites for seven years. After the battle, Gideon is praised by the Israelites and is given the title of "mighty man of valor."
