About Romans 16: Greetings and Closing Remarks

Paul greets some of his friends and closes the letter.
Commentary
Romans 16 is a chapter of greetings and farewells. Paul is concluding his letter to the Roman church and is sending his greetings to many of the people he knows in the church. He begins by commending Phoebe, a deaconess of the church in Cenchrea, for her service to the church. He then sends greetings to Priscilla and Aquila, a married couple who were fellow workers with Paul in the gospel. He also sends greetings to the church that meets in their house.
