Commentary
Judges 12 is a chapter in the Old Testament book of Judges that tells the story of the war between the tribes of Ephraim and Jephthah. The Ephraimites had refused to help Jephthah in his war against the Ammonites, so Jephthah retaliated by attacking them. The Ephraimites were defeated and Jephthah's forces killed many of them. The chapter ends with Jephthah's victory and the Ephraimites' defeat.
