About Numbers 33: The Journey of the Israelites

God commands the Israelites to drive out the inhabitants of the land of Canaan and to divide the land among the tribes.
Commentary
In Numbers 33, the Israelites are instructed to take a census of the people and to record their journey from Egypt to the Promised Land. This chapter is a record of the various stops the Israelites made on their journey, beginning with their departure from Rameses in Egypt and ending with their arrival at the plains of Moab.
