Commentary
Judges 10 is a chapter in the Old Testament of the Bible that tells the story of the Israelites’ apostasy and God’s response. The Israelites had turned away from God and were worshipping false gods. In response, God allowed the Ammonites and the Philistines to oppress them. The Israelites cried out to God for help, and God sent them a judge named Jephthah. Jephthah was a brave warrior who led the Israelites in battle against their oppressors. He was successful in defeating the Ammonites and the Philistines, and the Israelites were able to enjoy peace and prosperity for a time.
